QUALITY - FIDDLE BACK SOLID TIMBER - FRAMED MIRROR. This frame is made of the best solid fiddle back timber which is used on high quality violins. The frame corners are beautifully crafted & shaped to enhance the bevelled edge mirror. A heavy item. The craftsman is attributed to be a joiner who worked on the Australian Parliament House of 1927. NOTE: The next lot was this same craftsman.

SUPERB QUALITY - MARBLE & FIDDLE BACK TIMBER WASH STAND & CUPBOARD. The craftsmanship in the making of this fine piece is exemplary. The timber is Fiddle back which is used on high quality violins and this superb piece has two draws on the left and a cupboard on the right with an architectural arch. The highly polished marble as fitted to the back and top has grains of colours of grey, black, white and timber tonings. A heavy item. The craftsman is attributed to be a joiner who worked on furnishings of the Australian Parliament House of 1927. NOTE: The above lot had the same craftsman.

VICTORIAN (UNRESTORED) BRASS BED with PORCELAIN SPOOLS. This is a Queen size bed which has hand-painted yellow flower sprays on each porcelain spool. There are three spools on the head and six on the foot. This is an original brass bed, and when restored would result in one of the finest of BRASS BEDS you could wish for. Idealy suited for either inclusion of a refurbished Victorian home, or a new country-styled home, with 'Laura Ashley' furnishings. Will look absolutely stunning when the old varnish and dents in the brass are removed! No rails. RESTORER'S DREAM!!!
